We respect your privacy and take reasonable steps to ensure maximum security and best practice. This Privacy & Security statement covers all subpages included on the Jokerworkshop.com website, but does not cover any third party websites that this website cyber-links to, or any website that cyber-links to this website. By visiting our website, you are accepting to our privacy and security practices set forth below as part of the Terms of Service. 


Visitors Using Our Website

As is true of most websites, we and our service providers gather anonymous information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes users' internet protocol (IP) address, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. This information does not link to personal information and does not capture users' personal identity.

We and our service providers use this information to analyze trends, to administer websites, to track users' movements around websites and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.We and our service providers do so by using technologies such as cookies, beacons, tags, and scripts. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by our service providers on an aggregated basis. 

Users can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level. If you reject cookies, you may still use our website, but your ability to use some features or areas of our website may be limited, including not being able to make purchase on the website. 
 

Customers Shopping with Us

To successfully process and fulfill the order you place, we collects only the necessary personally identifiable information such as your name, e-mail and postal address, as well as credit card information, for that particular transaction only. We do not store your credit card information on file for future purchase.   

At the time you hit the Submit Order button on our website, you submit encrypted payment credentials to a third party service provider—Stripe, Inc. Stripe is a payment processor certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. You authorize Stripe to send an authorization request to the bank that issued your credit card, to allow the amount be charged. You will be notified immediately whether the transaction is approved or declined by the card-issuing bank.

At no time is your credit card information stored on our website or on the service provider that hosts our website. Neither does the payment processor Stripe, Inc. share such information with us. Stripe shares with us only the information necessary for us to identify each transaction, such as the last four digits of the card used and the card brand. We store and maintain this record for as long as needed as merchant's receipt, in compliance with our legal obligations and also for the purposes of providing customer services, resolving disputes, enforcing our agreements. For example, in case you have any question regarding a particular transaction made on our website, we can use this record to confirm with you correctly the transaction in question.

As per Stripe's Privacy Policy, Stripe also has a variety of obligations to retain the data that you provide them, both to ensure that transactions can be appropriately processed, settled, refunded or chargedback, to identify fraud, and also to comply with laws applicable to them and to their banking providers and credit card processors. 

In case where a refund to you is required, we authorize Stripe to credit the refund amount to the same credit card directly. You do not need to provide us with credit card information again, nor will we ask you to do so. 

We do not share our transaction record, which includes the personal information you provide us with any third party, except if and when required by Canadian law. We may release transaction and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply Our Terms of Service; or protect the rights, property, or safety of Joker Workshop, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. 

Please note that we currently do not implement “Stripe Checkout”, which is a specific online service or feature that other online merchants might choose to implement. If you are already a user of “Stripe Checkout,” you have set up such an account with Stripe on another merchant's website, but not on or from our website. The section on Stripe's privacy policy pertaining to “Checkout Usersdoes not apply to your shopping on Jokeworskhop.com.


Communications from Us

Upon receiving a customer purchase order or e-mail, we may use your information and email address to contact you regarding your inquiry. 

With your permission, we may send you newsletter from time to time about new products, services or promotions. You may opt-out of these communications at any time by clicking on the link at the bottom of our communications to you. Your permission is obtained only when you choose to subscribe to our newsletter on our website.
